Home & Nature
I wasn't very interested in nature for a long time. I certainly liked my pets as a child and that sort of thing. My parents often took me for walks in the woods round the corner from us. But these days I'm more of a city person. There's nothing nicer than arriving at the main station after a holiday and having the smell of the filthy station blasted up my nose. I love my city.
In this section I would like to show you some pictures of my plants and talk about how I like to decorate my home. The decoration partis not necessarily about plants, but since I don't have a garden or whatever, I thought both would fit under Home and Nature.
You may ask yourself, "How does feeding pigeons fit into the more home based type of subject?" Don't worry for to long, my friend! You'll find the answer soon!

Even as a child, I collected things like crazy. It basically started with Lego, Playmobil and similar toys. I didn't want anyone to touch my things or mess up the order. When I was a teenager, I started collecting cans of energy drinks.
Today I mainly focus on fan merchandise (scarves, cups, jerseys). But of course, like any normal person, I also have an army of plush animals. Half of my bed is filled with them.
Although I don't have a lot of money, I spend what little I do have on things like this. So it's common for me to treat myself to something on special occasions. For example, for my birthday, on Halloween or for Christmas. Most of the time, these are just things to put or hang up, but I want my home to be cozy.
On my walls are fan scarves, jerseys and flags from clubs and players, but also from concerts and bands. There's also a wall in my bedroom with all kinds of cups and stuff from clubs, some of which I don't even like. They are just memorabilia. I also have a few things from previous fandoms that I used to like - from my Harry Potter days, for example.
And somewhere in my wardrobe there are also scarves from clubs that I've received as gifts at matches or from friends. Again, there are scarves from clubs I'm not interested in or don't even like. But it's a kind of honour not to just throw them away. I also saved a scarf from being thrown away when a friend moved out of the country and his roommate didn't pick up her things in time.
Plants/Gardening

I've wanted plants for a long time. And I've also tried a few times to put plants in my home. Unfortunately, they all died. I don't know why, I remembered to water them, choose a good location and so on. But somehow they never wanted to survive.

I have a small plant. I don't know what type it is. This plant is an absolute survivor. Sometimes I forget about it, but it still gets some water once a week. As I like to keep my apartment darker (I'm sensitive to light), it grows slowly. But I've had it since mid-2025 and it's still alive.
We write the year 2025, my mum had bought me tomato seeds and I got started. The tomatoes were growing on the balcony. I watered them regularly and even got some fertiliser from a friend.
Well, I ended up overdoing it a bit with the fertiliser and suddenly had four 180 cm / about 5 feet 11 inches tall plants on my balcony. Oops. But the harvest was still good. Fun fact: I don't even like tomatoes. So I can't say whether they tasted particularly good. I did eat some, but I didn't think it was great. Other people said they were good, but I can't say for sure.
In 2026 I will try something other than tomatoes. In Germany, cannabis growing is (currently) permitted. Everyone is allowed to have up to three plants. I don't smoke cannabis any more, but I still want to try growing it.
